Great news from Bern! 📢 Our very own Veikkaus CEO Olli Sarekoski has been elected 2nd Vice President of the European Lotteries Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term. European Lotteries brings together 70 lottery operators from 40 countries, working to ensure that gaming in Europe continues to benefit society. 📢 EL re-elects President and appoints new Executive Committee We are pleased to announce that during today’s General Assembly in Bern, EL Members re-elected Romana Girandon as President and appointed a new Executive Committee for the period 2025-2027. 💬 Upon her election, Romana says, “I am deeply honoured to be re-elected as EL President. The unanimous vote confirms the trust in our shared societal purpose and the strong commitment of European lotteries to gaming that gives back to society''. She adds, ''I sincerely thank EL members for their confidence in me to lead our Association for another mandate.
