Despite the notorious traffic issues in Bengaluru , where else in the world can one find a sanctuary like Cubbon Park? It’s lush greenery and unparalleled weather create a superb environment. We should all feel immense gratitude for having this natural treasure in our city.

My 7:42 AM arrival at Cubbon Park brought an immediate sense of awe. The park's lush greenery and natural splendor are remarkable, creating a breathtaking oasis within the dense urban landscape. Despite my occasional traffic complaints about the city, I remain anchored here, primarily due to the weather , greenery and above all, exceptional hospitality and welcoming nature of the Bangaloreans !! Cubbon Park is a real treasure - a pocket of fresh air, right in the middle of the city. Did you know that Cubbon is home to almost a 100 different varieties of plant species? Plus they have a dog park that I'm sure Theo would enjoy. 😄

Completely agree. A real urban treasure.

Absolutely agree Cubbon Park is truly a gem in the heart of Bengaluru! Its greenery and calm vibe are unmatched, especially amidst the city’s buzz. That said, we can’t forget Lalbagh another iconic sanctuary that’s a blessing for South Bengaluru. With its majestic centuries-old trees, serene lake, and the historic Glass House that hosts the famous flower shows, Lalbagh offers a different but equally magical experience. We’re lucky to have not just one, but two such green treasures in our city!

Cubbon Park continues to be admired as a vital “lung space” for walkers in Bengaluru, preserving its historical charm and natural beauty even in the midst of urban growth. This central park remains a favorite destination for daily walkers, joggers, families, and those seeking clean air and greenery, highlighting its enduring role as a sanctuary from the city’s bustle. The mix of old trees, well-tended paths, and tranquil atmosphere helps maintain the park’s unique appeal despite changes in the surrounding cityscape.
