What’s new in October? It’s been a very active and fulfilling month – from moments of feeling like it’s too much to a successful end of the month, filled with gratitude. Here’s what we’ve accomplished and what we’re aiming for: 🎉 At talent+be, we successfully conducted 10 Employee Wellbeing Index studies. Our methodology is ready for further use in companies to determine employee satisfaction and engagement, identify next steps, and prioritize actions for improvement. 📍 In addition, we have conducted several leadership development sessions on the manager’s role in employee wellbeing and experience, team-building sessions for setting common goals, and numerous individual development consultations for managers. 🌱 We continue to grow and have launched a partnership with SmartHR/Latvija to reach more business and HR leaders aiming to understand how their employees feel, set people management priorities, and implement them with the guidance of experienced work and organizational psychologists. On October 28, we’ll be participating in the HR Technology Conference, where you can meet us and learn how we help companies grow. 💛 Not only are our partnerships growing, but so is our team. On Monday, a new talent will join our team, bringing fresh skills to complement our current lineup. Stay tuned! 📅 We have started planning our priorities and actions for 2025 to continue our mission – fostering humanity in organizations. A challenging yet productive month, with much more ahead.

Bridging Generational Gaps in the Workplace Lately, we’ve been hearing and reading a lot about the challenge of adapting across generations in the workplace. With multiple age groups working side by side, differences in communication, expectations, and values can sometimes lead to friction. One common challenge is managing the younger generation, who often respond better to respectful dialogue rather than traditional strictness. As HR practitioners, it’s our role to equip supervisors and managers with the right tools to lead effectively not by lowering standards, but by improving connection. In FY26, we’ll be expanding our engagement initiatives: ✅ Skip-level meetings involving operators ✅ Targeted sessions with supervisors to address disciplinary approaches and enhance industrial harmony Because managing people is a lot like fixing a roof, you don’t wait until it rains. You prepare, reinforce, and adjust before the storm comes. Communication gaps won’t close themselves, they require action, empathy, and consistent effort.
