Absolutely agree — procurement isn’t just about buying materials, it’s about strategic supply chain planning. In one of my projects in a high-altitude region, the cost of transporting materials exceeded the material cost itself. That experience taught me that project success depends less on the purchase price and more on how you plan sourcing, staging, and logistics. Effective procurement in such environments means thinking beyond vendors and treating logistics as the real design parameter.
