Yesterday, the Roads to the Future 2025 was organized by the Swedish Electromobility Centre – SEC and hosted by Chalmers University of Technology. Nicolas Gendre, Head of Battery Industrialization & Logistics at Volvo Energy, shared our perspective on how battery circularity plays a vital role in the future of electromobility. From design and usage to monitoring, repair, refurbishing, remanufacturing, repurposing, and recycling — battery circularity is not only a technical challenge, but also an opportunity to create customer value through new services and business models. At Volvo Energy, our ambition is clear: - Maximizing environmental and economic value through a holistic battery circularity model - While ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency at every stage "It was inspiring to see the global community of researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders come together in Gothenburg to explore how circularity and electromobility is transforming our industry." says Nicolas. #VolvoEnergy #Electromobility #BatteryCircularity #Sustainability #WeAreVolvoGroup #Chalmers
