Our client is a rapidly growing regional waste company seeking a Maintenance Manager for their Bossier, LA location. The Maintenance Manager oversees fleet equipment, facility upkeep, and a team of technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, containers, and related equipment. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling repairs, monitoring shop performance, managing supervisors and lead technicians, controlling costs, overseeing outside repairs, and maintaining preventive maintenance programs. The position requires advanced technical knowledge of vehicle systems, strong leadership and organizational skills, financial planning ability, and compliance with safety standards such as OSHA. Candidates should have at least three years of supervisory experience in transportation maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
