Founded in 2005, at a time when few were talking about sustainability, the Tire Industry Project (TIP) was built on a pioneering idea: to anticipate, understand, and address environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues relevant to the tire industry and its value chain. What began with a group of CEOs from leading tire companies has grown into a global platform for the tire industry’s engagement on ESG, bringing together: ➡️ 10 leading tire companies, representing 60% of the world’s tire manufacturing capacity ➡️ 8 affiliate members collaborating on industry topics ➡️ A distinguished Assurance Group of independent experts, providing objective counsel and guidance Working to advance science, strengthen collaboration, and improve industry practices across the tire lifecycle.
