✈️ We celebrated the official opening of our new base at Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan! With two Airbus A321neo aircraft stationed in Yerevan, we are proud to introduce eight new direct routes to Europe: Prague, Hamburg, Paphos, Paris, Naples, Bari, Bucharest, and Memmingen, while also increasing the frequency of our Dortmund route. Additionally, flights from Gyumri’s Shirak Airport to Larnaca, Cyprus, are now available. This milestone makes Wizz Air the market leader in Armenia, operating 16 routes to 9 countries, and aiming to carry more than 1.2 million passengers this year. Beyond expanding travel opportunities, we are creating over 800 jobs, strengthening connectivity, and supporting Armenia’s growing tourism sector. 🎉 Welcome, Yerevan — Wizz Air’s 34th base!
When will Wizzair start direct flights from Amsterdam to Yerevan?
