Gen Z Political Engagement: Short-Form Video vs Direct Mail Fresh insights highlight a generational communication divide: 48% of Gen Z consumes political news via short-form video, compared to just 8% via direct mail. 82% engage with campaign content on video platforms, versus 33% with mailers. 67% report viral sharing potential from video content, but only 4% from mail. Direct mail holds 76% trust, yet response rates remain just 12.4%. The key takeaway: trust does not equal action. For Gen Z, short-form video isn’t optional — it’s the dominant medium for influence, engagement, and political mobilization. #GenZPolitics #PoliticalEngagement #ShortFormVideo #TikTokPolitics #ReelsStrategy #DigitalCampaigning #PoliticalMarketing #PoliticalAdvertising #CampaignStrategy #PoliticalCommunication #YouthVoters #PoliticalData #DigitalPolitics #SocialMediaInfluence #PoliticalTrends #PoliticalCampaigns #Election2025

Believe us — we’ve seen everything. And these 5 mistakes can sink a campaign: 1️⃣ Voters live online. If you’re not showing up in their feeds, you’re invisible. 2️⃣ Money isn’t everything, but without resources you can’t reach people effectively. 3️⃣ Campaigns fail when candidates lecture instead of listening. 4️⃣ Miami is diverse. You can’t copy-paste a message across communities. 5️⃣ A great message means nothing if your supporters don’t actually turn out. Avoid these traps and run smarter. We can help you build the strategy that works. #WeReachVoters #MiamiElections2025 #YourVoiceYourVote

It's notable that The Dispatch is transforming from a center-right political magazine to a more diversified media company focused on servicing specific niche audiences. Its acquisition of SCOTUSBLOG signaled it wanted to go much deeper on the judicial branch, and now it's launching industry-focused policy verticals that are more geared toward CEOs and wonks than lay audiences who simply seek out political coverage. It's sort of similar to the strategy Politico embraced in the early 2010s when it launched Politico PRO. https://lnkd.in/eWSYBTD9

What makes a political ad truly effective? Some might accuse a strategy of being weaponized, but the real impact comes from resonating with the core values and concerns of the electorate. One of the most talked-about ads this election cycle focused on highlighting a candidate's alignment with certain policies. The lack of reaction to the ad only amplified its message, leaving a lasting impression. Considering the power of impactful messaging, what are the key elements that make a political ad truly resonate? #politicalstrategy #electionads #effectivecommunication #voterengagement #politicalmarketing
