We are asking architects, designers, technologists, engineers, students, and others interested in AI to share their ideas and submit pitches on how AI can transform architecture and design.

The AI for Architecture Pitch Off, presented by cove, aims to spur innovation and showcase AI-powered solutions that can further revolutionize architectural design and workflows.  

A recent report found that 66% of architect leaders believe AI will be essential to their business within three years, and are looking for opportunities to identify, pilot, and test these technologies – so the timing for sharing your big ideas couldn’t be better. 

Here’s more about what you can expect from the pitch off event:   

What is the AI for Architecture Competition?  

• We’re inviting architects, designers, technologists, engineers, students, and AI enthusiasts to submit their pitch for how AI can transform architecture and design.  

• The deadline to submit is April 8, 2025. 

• Five finalists will be selected to record their pitch, which will be used for the final judging deliberation and live winner announcement on April 17, 2025.  

• The winning team will receive a $5,000 grand prize and the opportunity to pitch their idea to a real investor. 

What should I submit? 

You should submit a pitch deck that presents an idea integrating AI into architecture to solve a problem or enhance industry workflows. This could be:  

• A conceptual AI solution for architectural design, sustainability, or building processes.  

• A prototype or proof-of-concept showcasing AI in action.  

• An AI-powered workflow enhancement that improves efficiency or decision-making.  

Why should I enter the competition? 

The winner receives: 

• A $5,000 grand prize – awarded to one team.  

• The opportunity to pitch a real investor.  

• Promotion across cove’s marketing channels, including social media, press release, newsletter, and industry outreach.  

What must be included in the submission??  

Submit the following as a PDF by April 8, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET: 

• Your Pitch Deck. Give us a structured visual summary of the idea (max 5 slides). 

• An Executive Summary. Outline the problem, solution, AI application, and impact (max 1 page).  

Can you share advice for those submitting? 

Be clear, concise, and demonstrate how your AI solution is innovative, feasible, and impactful for the architecture industry.
