Applus+ invests in cutting-edge drone technology for superior testing and inspection
Applus+ has invested in a revolutionary drone technology that promises to transform the landscape of inspection. This advanced drone, the Skydio X10, is fresh to the market and designed to capture more detailed UAV inspections at closer proximity than ever before. The Skydio X10 will be deployed across a wide range of UAV inspection applications, including power lines, infrastructure, wind turbines and solar power.
Digital Services Team partnership event with Global Drone Solutions (GDS)
On Friday 21st February, the Applus+ Pacific Digital Services team were on hand at a key partnership event with Global Drone Solutions, demonstrating our cutting-edge drone technology, including the Skydio X10, and highlighting how technology transforms asset inspections. 📸

Exciting growth with two new senior leaders
We are excited to announce the addition of two incredible leaders to our Applus+ Pacific team: David Perry and Srikrishnan Vaidyanathan, who are joining in senior roles to support our continued growth and success! 🚀
Sri has joined us as Regional Financial Controller, based in Perth, WA. With over 33 years of financial leadership and strategic planning experience, Sri will be overseeing the finance team across the Pacific region, shaping our financial strategy, and driving operational efficiency. He will also act as a trusted advisor to the EVP, contributing to business development and strategic planning. 🌏
We’re also excited to welcome David as the new Business Development Director for Applus+ Pacific . With over 20 years in the energy sector, David brings a wealth of industry experience, and his leadership will help us continue to innovate and drive success in the region. Previously, David played a key role in Australia’s offshore wind industry as Commercial Manager for Flotation Energy, driving commercial strategy, supplier partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
We are confident that both David and Sri will play pivotal roles in shaping the future of Applus+ Pacific as we continue to expand and deliver excellence.

Valentine's Day: Brekkie burger and a chat!
On Friday 14th February, our Bibra Lake HQ kicked off the day with a bacon and egg breakfast, thanks to the efforts of our Regional QHSE Manager – Pacific, Mark Daniel .
With 3.5kg of bacon, three dozen eggs, and 35 rolls on the grill, it was a great way to connect, catch up, and start the day on a positive note. 🥓🍳
✅ We had a solid turnout including night shift personnel like Paul Denness , who made the effort to come in, and others who stopped by before heading to site.
✅ Other employees came down just to connect—even without grabbing a plate. This event provided a great opportunity to meet new people in the business.
✅ Employees connected and shared insights about their job roles, with conversations covering everything from tube inspection to our latest underwater drone technology.
✅ A big thank you to Ron Hunt, Stephen Adams, Das Potgieter & LUKE CAMPBELL for assisting in the set-up and pack down. True teamwork in action! 💪
