April 2025 Update
Lots of awards! April has brought Easter eggs, sunshine and lots of awards! This month we bring news of the latest set of Quarterly Supplier Awards as well as the Revival National Branch Meeting which also featured awards for our best performing branches.
Virtus Surveyor of the Quarter
Congratulations to Ian Lancaster, the Virtus Surveyor of the Quarter ended March 2025.
During Storm Eowyn and throughout Q1 Ian has been travelling for Virtus, spending over three weeks away from home in one trip alone, to ensure he covered the more remote parts of Scotland for us. Reports are submitted the same day and are always good. Ian is always proactive in keeping us up to date on his travel and availability. Well done Ian.
Revival Branch of the Quarter
Revival Brighton are the winners of Revival Branch of the Quarter for March 2025.
Brighton have consistently achieved 100% on the Trevor league table. They have received four positive feedback logs for being very friendly, good at what they do with excellent communication. They only received two incidents during the last quarter for minor scoping mistakes and there are never any problems or issues raised by our operations team. They have had no complaints, they never turn any claims away and have completed a majority of the KYS modules. Well done to Wayne and the team in Brighton
MA Assist Supplier of the Quarter
Well done to Price Brothers for winning MA Assist Supplier of the Quarter for Q1.
Price Brothers have been with MA Assist for a relatively short period, but in that time their wealth of knowledge and experience has shone through. They have highlighted vulnerable customers and gone the extra mile to assist them on behalf of insurers and have assisted MA Assist with some challenging cases with their technical ability and positivity.
Congratulations to everyone at Price Brothers.
Revival National Branch Meeting
We held another successful Revival branch meeting in Milton Keynes on 24th April. The day started with a supplier expo, giving branches and suppliers some valuable time for networking and information sharing.
Then after lunch we had presentations and discussions on business development, Technical, Large and Complex (TLC) claims solutions, the equipment efficiency project, training and ESG.
In the evening we held the gala dinner and awards ceremony where we were delighted to present the following awards:
Technician of the Year 2024 - Mike Bosley, Thames Valley (collected by Julia O'Connor) and Administrator of the Year 2024 - Lia Stephenson, Cumbria and North East (collected by Darren Harper)
Know Your Skills Award 2024 - Portsmouth and Branch Leadership of the Year Award 2024 - Sam Bell and Darren Southwell, Portsmouth
Revival Spirit Award 2024 - Peter Moir, Strathclyde and Making a Difference Award 2024 - Sheffield
MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner
The annual MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner returns for 2025.
Join us at The Oxfordshire Golf, Hotel and Spa on the 12th June for a great day of golf followed by a fantastic evening of delicious food and entertainment – not to mention our famous auction!
Once again we’re fundraising for our chosen charity – Oxford Young Adult Clinic – a vital community-based service that supported our CEO, Paul Hayman - FCIOB, and his daughter Laura, to whom Paul donated his kidney in 2017.
Last year we raised £11,000 – so to all our suppliers and wider network, let’s make this year even better.

MA Group MAD Awards
Our March winner was Charlotte Young, Claims Technician.
Charlotte has been superb in dealing with a couple of TLC claims. She has had the tenacity to make a difference by keeping close communication with customers, client and suppliers. Her calm approach has reassured customers and her ability to keep the suppliers connected in with the insurer and loss adjustor is a real asset to the group.
Well done, Charlotte.
