"AI has moved from experimentation, to a real focus on unlocking business value." - Arvind Krishna, IBM Chairman and CEO

Last week at #Think2025, our annual flagship event, this sentiment was delivered to a room of thousands of technologists, business leaders, and innovators. It couldn’t be more true. Technology is the key to driving growth, productivity and competitive advantage. In his keynote, Arvind shared how AI, automation, and hybrid cloud are enabling businesses to unlock the full value of their data, allowing them to innovate in new ways, boost productivity, and improve operational efficiency.

Here at IBM, we’ve always believed technology is at the heart of competitive advantage and innovation. That’s why we’ve built solutions that are ready to deploy and designed for real work–from agentic AI, hybrid cloud, data integration, and more. Let’s break down the biggest announcements at Think 2025. 👇

This is great. We're not missing it

Ethical AI Leadership and Public Engagement: Actively participating in and shaping public discourse around AI ethics, consistently emphasizing IBM's principles of augmentation, data ownership, and transparency, will be important. Engaging proactively with policymakers and the public to build trust and address societal concerns about AI's impact on employment and corporate responsibility will help. Negative public perception and ethical concerns can harm brand reputation and potentially lead to regulatory challenges. By demonstrating responsible AI leadership and transparently addressing the human impact of AI, IBM can differentiate itself, attract top talent, and foster a more favorable operating environment for its AI-driven growth strategy.
