Crikle - the guided sales tool

Of course these days we are working from home and have to make this experience productive and efficient in this brave new world.

Of course this will end, but the world will be changed 'forever' and more and more tasks will be performed remotely.

Of course one of them is selling from anywhere and more specifically replacing personalised, face-face, consulting and selling with ‘remote guided sales”.

I have spoken with a lot of friends who need to 'sell' something these days, remotely. They have to use prosumer solutions like Zoom/Skype with screen share to present a movie, a PowerPoint or just a simple document. But users are not necessarily computer savvy and most of them only have one screen to rely on. The result? Poor quality and shabby presentations where the presenter is often embarrassed because of what can slip through screen share!

I have joined the founding team and happily invested in Crikle, a U.K. based start-up which has created a very targeted tool, specifically for this use-case.

It is an integration of video calling and a presentation (this is a very simplistic definition), where you can seamlessly present on your customer's screen without screen sharing using multi-media capabilities and guide them through your presentation. Your presentation is always under your control as you switch from video to images to documents to slides with the ability to even dynamically re-build the presentation whilst you are actually presenting. For your customer, this is a seamless experience as they only see what you want them to see. A pleasant change from messy screen sharing.

Another way of looking at Crikle is that is replaces the need for fancy meeting rooms and show rooms. The white label solution allows you to brand the platform with your identity. Your customer will see your logo and your colours when you are talking or presenting. This takes away the hesitation of talking on public video calling platforms with questionable security. You also have the ability to take notes during the presentation and share them with your customer after the call. You can also create a list of favourites and send them to the customer as well.

Put quite simply, Crikle helps reduce the sales cycle and ger decisions out of your customers quickly, enables you to maintain your brand identity remotely and sell/consult face to face from anywhere. It is not surprising therefore that Crikle is already being used by consulting firms, law firms, real estate companies, event planners, advertising companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, home improvement and sellers of luxury goods across the world. For most, Crikle is the fully branded showroom or conference room in the cloud.

The platform claims to have “military grade end to end encryption” , making it a highly secure way of communication or presenting to your customers.

I am a regular user of Crikle - I use it every day to speak between Romania and the US. Having used Zoom/Teams/WebEx quite extensively, I have to admit that Crikle's browser-only tool is the most stable!

And lastly, the company is growing rapidly, so - happy investors are welcome! (I guess a new round is near, to facilitate faster growth.)

Anyways, go check my latest investment on www.crikle.com - you'll love it!

Very cool and definitely useful. As someone who is currently focused on sales, I would agree that such a solution helps a lot, especially if it simplifies the Ui/Ux for the non technical buyers. However, this does not replace the need and importance of sales skills for a SR. Human interaction, even done through a webcam can create much higher impact than a very shinny presentation. Have registered and will stay close. I see for now it's a pre-launch registration process.

Radu Georgescu I think the solution is too pricy. $62 per user per month. If you look at Slack Plus with only $15 per active user per month i think there is quite big difference. Zoom is $20 per month per host for their small business plan. What is the main key differentiator against competitors?

It shows again, timing is everything...
