Cyber compliance within a supply chain
We generally define that proper management of the supply chain leads to a situation in which goods flow in a timely fashion from suppliers to customers while maintaining low inventories and lowering costs. Efficient supply chain management achieved when both suppliers and customers operate in a coordinated manner, share information and work toward common goals.
Today, in the era of eCommerce, we can create chains and connections that in the past were not impossible. We can develop chains and connections that in the past, not so far, were ineffective.
"Dropshipping" is a retail method where the store does not store the products it sells in stock. What does a supply chain look like? What enables trading effectively?

In recent years, the number of cyber events has grown, starting with the information systems infrastructure of one company, and continuing to the information systems infrastructures of other companies. The leakage of such an event usually takes place between companies that share a link in the supply chain, and hence one affects the other. The strength of organizations in the economy and their resilience to cyber attacks is directly and indirectly influenced by the ability of suppliers to protect the supply chain for these organizations.
The above is the intro for my lecture, scheduled March 11 at the 19th international summit for supply chain management. I will be presenting my thoughts as part of the eCommerce track.
