Even though this is not the last On Your Radar newsletter of the year, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your appreciation. At DappRadar we strive to allow everybody to discover the wonderful world of blockchain, dapps and Web3. You being a reader, but you in the front seat.

In that light we’ve had some wonderful announcements this week. Whenever someone is discovering new dapps, they can now instantly purchase the required cryptocurrencies without the need to go through an exchange. We integrated Transak

And while our API just hit the market earlier this month, we have announced a strategic partnership with OKX . Their users can now find dapp data in the OKX Wallet and on their official website.

Did you know that the blockchain industry has seen a 50% increase in wallets interacting with decentralized applications this year? These aren’t people just trading crypto on Binance, but metaverse citizens using decentralized financial tools, collecting digital items, playing games and traveling into a whole new digital world.

Despite the looming economic recession, I personally remain bullish on Web3. We’re seeing Visa jumping in, football collectibles becoming increasingly popular, and brands using the metaverse to create a new market. This story is just getting started.

  • Ultimate Champions expanded its ecosystem by adding the NBA. This gave the gaming dapp a 247% boost in its Unique Active Wallets, reaching more than 53,890.
  • Nine Chronicles is a game running on its own player-owned blockchain ecosystem. They’ve seen their user numbers increase 39% to more than 22,370 UAW. Planetarium
  • Social media and Web3 seem like a golden combination, but true adoption isn’t there yet. Still Lens Protocol is making a splash, boosting its weekly user numbers 191% to more than 19,320. - Read more here
  • Did you know that the most expensive NFT sold in the past week is not a Bored Ape or CryptoPunks NFT? The NFT artwork Utopia made by XCOPY sold for $393,170 through SuperRare Labs
  • Donald Trump has ruined the party for Yuga Labs because the former US president’s NFT collection takes 4th place in the weekly Rankings. This makes it the only NFT collection in the Top 5 not owned by the Web3 company.

  • TRY THIS OUT - Decentraland has launched Decentraland Worlds, allowing users with Land NFTs to build something and host events. The number of traders got a boost though, up 21% to 291 this week. While the most expensive land of the week sold for $26,860
  • BE WARNED - Our friends at Harpie warn of a hack using OpenSea ’s gasless sales feature. Hackers set up a private auction using this method, tricking NFT holders in making them sell their NFTs for free. Read it in more detail here.
  • JOB WELL DONE - OpenOcean has launched a cross-chain swap aggregator, the best swap across any blockchain. A nice move towards true blockchain interoperability.
