Essential Tips for Visitors to the Intermodal South America 2025 Fair

The Intermodal South America is the largest logistics fair in Latin America, and its next edition will take place from April 22 to 24 in São Paulo, for the first time at the new location in the Anhembi district. This event is a reference in the Brazilian market and has increasingly attracted a growing number of international visitors in recent years, largely due to the presence of freight forwarders networks that promote the connection of companies from around the world.

The Twig Network is the first and largest network in Latin America and has been supporting the fair since 2017.

To maximize your experience at Intermodal, here are some practical tips that may be helpful, especially for first-time visitors, as well as information about our booth!

Transportation: Planning is Key

Urban mobility in São Paulo can be challenging. Depending on the time, GRU International Airport can take up to 2 hours to reach hotels in the center or the fair venue.

Tips:

  • Avoid peak hours: Check your arrival time and plan to avoid rush hour.
  • Opt for safe transport: Hire specialized companies or use Uber (prefer UBER BLACK)
  • Plan your trips back and forth: On Intermodal days, the hotel-fair journey often takes longer due to heavy traffic.

What to Expect at the Fair

Intermodal features nearly 400 booths, and visiting all of them in 3 days is a challenge. Therefore, planning is essential to optimize your meetings.

Suggestions for effective planning:

1. Define your target audience: Know which segments (carriers, technology, suppliers) you want to contact.

2. Study the fair map: Identify where the companies of interest will be located.

3. Create a list: Write down the booths you plan to visit and organize visits by day.

4. Schedule meetings in advance: Try to arrange appointments, especially with partners, after the first hour of the fair opening.

Networking: Make Valuable Connections

Intermodal is an excellent opportunity to connect with other industry professionals. The Twig Network booth, located at I060, is the perfect meeting point where you can interact with many agents.

Tips to maximize networking:

  • Communicate before the event: Send emails to partners asking who will be attending the fair and try to schedule meetings. You can invite them to meet at Twig's booth.
  • Use your social media: Let others know you'll be at Intermodal and share a link to schedule meetings.
  • Reach out to new partners: Use the mornings and evenings to invite them for coffee or dinner.
  • Become a Twig member: If you’re not yet a Twig member, join us before the fair to gain access to our network, booth, chat group, and other benefits that will enhance your company’s results. Send us an email at twig@twignetwork.com

Enjoy São Paulo

São Paulo is a vibrant city with plenty of options for fun and dining. Plan your outings to avoid disappointments after the fair.

With that in mind, Twig is organizing a unique and exclusive event for members, the Twig Disco.

The Twig Disco will be a party featuring food, drinks, and great music, offering a perfect environment for freight agents to connect in a relaxed way, in the best Latino style.

All details about the Twig Disco can be found on the Event Page

Additional Tips

Intermodal is a dynamic and welcoming event, so feel free to dress comfortably, wearing clothes that reflect your personality. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, as you will be walking a lot!

The use of credit cards and Apple Pay is very common in Brazil, so don’t worry about carrying too much cash.
