🆕 Extended sponsorship of TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca 🏃♀️🏃♂️

After TUI returned as title sponsor of the #TUIPalmaMarathonMallorca last year, we have extended the commitment with the race organiser Kumulus until 2030.

"Together with Kumulus, the volunteers and our many partners on the island, we will continue working to enhance the experience for participants and spectators, ensuring that the marathon remains leading in terms of quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility", says Magnus Hüttenberend , Group Director responsible for TUI’s sponsoring activities.

Until the largest running event on the Balearic Islands returns, we look forward to the first-ever #TUIRhodesMarathon on 6th April.

Industry first microfibre initiative on Marella Cruises 🚢

Marella Cruises and Cleaner Seas Group® are rolling out an industry first initiative in microfibres captured in all laundry systems across the fleet of the five ships by September 2025. 🛳️

This comes after a successful six-month trial on Marella Explorer which showed that 99% of microfibres were captured. 🌊

The INDIKON filters, which have been matched to the ship requirements through pioneering technology from the support of Marella Cruises’ technical team and Cleaner Seas Group, will be installed across the entire fleet and help to capture more microfibres per year. ✅
