Join us for a fireside chat hosted by veteran entrepreneur and champion of climate reform Sunil Paul. Sunil’s passion to reinvent transportation dates back two decades, most recently as founder and CEO of pioneering rideshare company Sidecar. The event coincides with Climate Week 2021 and the launch of a new company, co-founded by Sunil, with the bold mission to reduce CO2 emissions by one gigaton through financial innovation.

Fossil-fuel vehicles are one of the major causes of global warming. They are responsible for nearly 15% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. Accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has the power to help reduce climate change in a significant way. Join us for a lively discussion on mobility and climate change.

Speakers:

Sunil Paul, veteran entrepreneur, Co-founder and CEO

Cassandra John, Co-founder and CFO

Chris Ballinger, Founder and Director, Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative

We’ll cover:

- New ideas in mobility financing

- Lessons from ridesharing and carsharing

- Opportunities to leverage blockchain technology

- How to achieve gigaton scale impact on the climate
