Momentum in Motion

The first few months of 2025 have been exciting for Team Dhruva Space as we continue to deliver on customer commitments and build new partnerships — staying true to our ethos.

The Team was honoured to host Lieutenant General N. S. Raja Subramani, Vice Chief of Army Staff, as well as members from the Meghalaya State Government and the Assam State Government. In tandem, the trade show circuit picked up again with key events such as Geospatial World 's GeoBuiz Summit, SIA-India 's DefSAT the National Conference on Strategic Trade Controls, and Aero India.

Needless to say, a busy start to the surely stellar year!

In this special feature in the March edition of the magazine, our CEO, Sanjay Nekkanti , and CFO, Chaitanya Dora , shed light on what’s ahead for Dhruva Space — covering our growing order book & revenue, plans for fundraise, and the progress of our 280,000 sq-ft manufacturing facility.

Stargazers, united

Dhruva Space's hobby clubs span a gamut of interests: dance, fine arts, literature, and – of course – Astronomy! During a recent stargazing expedition on the outskirts of Hyderabad, the Dhruva Space Astronomy Club, joined by friends and family, used its Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to capture stunning views of the Andromeda Galaxy, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter.

On Self-Reliance

The FICCI Bharat Space Conclave, set to take place on 12 March at Federation House, will revolve around the theme 'Space Innovations for Atmanirbhar Bharat.'

The event will welcome Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, and Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office, Space, and Atomic Energy, Government of India, who will deliver the Inaugural Address. Additionally, Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairman of IN-SPACe, will deliver the Keynote Address.

Keyur Gandhi , Director - Space Regulatory & Commercialisation, is set to lead a panel titled 'India’s Ascent to Space Leadership: The Role of Start-ups & Public-Private Partnerships'.

The Indo-French Journey

We are excited to look ahead to the 4th edition of the Indo-French Industries Meet by Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in Hyderabad on 13 March. Dhruva Space will be speaking in a panel themed 'Product Innovation – Disruptive Technologies Shaping the Future'.

The Value of Applications

Avinash Maramraju , Additional Director - Business Development & Sales, will be speaking at the upcoming 'Conclave on Adoption of Space Applications for Business Growth' on 20 March in New Delhi.

This event, jointly organised by IN-SPACe and CII4SPACE of Confederation of Indian Industry , will address the transformative impact of Space technologies across industries and facilitate their seamless integration into businesses across various sectors in India.
