Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) reported wholesale figures of 6,204 units for May 2024, marking a significant increase from the 3,043 units sold
Compared to May 2023, Nissan Motor India achieved a remarkable 34% growth, with total sales rising from 4,631 units to 6,204 units in May 2024. Of these, domestic wholesales accounted for 2,211 units in May 2024, compared to 2,404 units in April 2024 and 2,618 units in May 2023.
Export sales also surged this month, reaching 3,993 units, surpassing the April 2023 export wholesales of 639 units and the 2013 units sold in May 2023. This impressive performance underscores Nissan’s commitment to delivering exceptional service quality and customer experiences.
Mr.Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, expressed optimism about the team’s efforts driving growth. He emphasized their dedication to putting customers first and expanding their reach in the Indian market.
The Nissan Magnite has been pivotal to this success, captivating consumers both domestically and abroad since its launch in December 2020. Blending Japanese design excellence with efficient production in India, the Magnite embodies Nissan Motor India’s ‘Make-In-India, Make for the World’ manufacturing philosophy.
As part of its growth strategy, Nissan Motor India has expanded its network footprint across the country, with recent additions in Srinagar, Salem, Delhi, and Durgapur. The company now boasts 272 touchpoints, providing quality sales and service experiences nationwide.
The Nissan Magnite, exported to 15 global markets, has recently launched in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei. Additionally, Nissan has focused on exports to Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait
