Nokia South Africa appoints Cultivation Point as new Enterprise Development Partner
We are proud to announce that we have appointed Cultivation Point, trading as Lokshin Wifi, as our new Enterprise Development partner in South Africa. The selection process, akin to a 'Dragon's Den,' involved rigorous evaluation from a pool of 25 participants, with Cultivation Point emerging as the ideal partner as Black Women Owned Enterprises as defined in the ICT Sector Codes of Good Practice. The partner has to be operating in the ICT sector in South Africa as specified in the sector-specific Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) legislation for the country, and classified as a small to medium-sized organization. We chose to onboard a new Enterprise Development partner, as part of our commitment to transformation.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for both organizations as we embark on a collaborative journey for the next 12 months. Cultivation Point has demonstrated exceptional expertise, innovation, and a commitment to quality, aligning perfectly with the company’s values and goals. Their involvement will contribute towards realizing Nokia’s transformation plan in line with the country’s B-BBEE legislation and requirements.
We are confident that this partnership will yield mutually beneficial results in connecting the unconnected and contributing towards the country’s socio-economic imperatives of bridging the digital divide. We welcome Cultivation Point to our transformation circle and our path of transformation development for them to eventually become a notable supplier to Nokia and the rest of the ICT sector.
