A few weeks ago, Israel woke up to a very sad morning where we found out that we live in a different country than we thought.
Allegedly, our beloved Police forces which we all love and appreciate used different hacking tools against Israeli citizens in order to hack their phones without a court warrant. Pegasus is one of them.
Just to clarify, spying on citizens is illegal in almost every country in the world. There is a huge difference between listening to specific conversations of suspects with a court warrant, to using spying software that downloads every piece of information from your mobile phone. Just imagine what can happen if the authorities will learn about your deepest secrets and fears. Just imagine what will happen if the arguments with your wife will be leaked to the press and be used as leverage against you.
The right to privacy is a basic human right that we are all entitled to.
