Named after the female warriors of Greek mythology, the Amazona bag was originally designed in the 1970s for a growing tribe of career woman. The practical, versatile style became an enduring LOEWE icon, now reimagined for today by our creative director Jonathan Anderson.

The new Amazona collection arrives in vibrant shades of glossy nappa leather and Anagram jacquard, with reworked dimensions and advanced craftsmanship creating a new lightness, refinement and dynamism.

Evolving from the original rectangular format, the Amazona 19 Square is a new shape with neat geometric proportions, available in two sizes.

Handcrafted by artisans in our Spanish ateliers, the Amazona features large zipped compartments to accommodate today’s digital devices, plus a detachable shoulder strap and metal feet at the base for extra stability and durability.
