The location of the Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal (RDST) at the Rotterdam Maasvlakte functions as a Project Cargo & Heavy Lift hub & turning table as it lies right between all Rotterdam based deep sea container terminals.
We work for all shipping lines and all project forwarders as we are an independent terminal operator. At the RDST we consolidate breakbulk cargo waiting to be shipped with a container liner vessel. Also import project & heavy lift cargoes can be stored here waiting to be picked up by ship, barge, rail or truck. Our harbour mobile cranes can handle pieces up to 180 metric tonnes and the many available floating cranes up to 1800 metric tonnes!
