Standard Bus BC Rolls Out Convoy for Cariboo Pulp and Paper Mill Shutdown
When the Cariboo Pulp and Paper Mill in Quesnel, BC, recently initiated a shutdown to complete extensive mechanical maintenance, Standard Bus BC was called upon to deliver a transportation solution on an impressive scale.
With over 600 employees needing transportation daily, our team assembled a convoy of vehicles to shuttle workers safely and reliably from multiple hotels in Prince George to the mill in Quesnel.
This was Standard Bus BC’s first major shutdown project with the Cariboo Pulp and Paper Mill, marking a milestone in our relationship and setting the stage for future collaboration. The successful execution showcased not only our ability to move large numbers of people but also our commitment to safety, efficiency, and client partnership.
Pulling off a transportation effort of this size required more than just buses on the road—it took logistical expertise, clear communication, and a team of dedicated drivers and staff working together to make it happen.
We’re incredibly proud of the Standard Bus BC team for proving, once again, that no challenge is too big when we move as one.
