Stonehenge Capital Announces $2.2 Million Investment in St. Jude’s Ranch for Children

Investment will create jobs and expand access to healthcare for child survivors of sex trafficking in Southern Nevada.

Stonehenge Capital (Stonehenge) invested $2.2 million in St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, supporting the first and only residential health campus for child survivors of sex trafficking in Southern Nevada.

The investment, through the 2023 Nevada New Markets Jobs Act (NMJA), will support the development of The Healing Center, a new facility that will include administrative offices, therapy rooms, group home residences, and a high school operated by the Clark County School District. The Center will serve low-income youth survivors of sex trafficking. The development of the Healing Center is expected to support at least 50 new jobs.

The Healing Center will provide housing and individualized mental health support for all residents, who have access to health, nutrition, and financial literacy programs. The project represents a high-impact use of patient and flexible capital in an area of critical need. In the past year alone, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children engaged over 600 youth through programming, including one initiative that reconnects foster youth with siblings to strengthen family bonds.

Stonehenge’s $2.2 million investment is part of a broader financing package led by U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance, in partnership with Crescent Growth Capital and multiple community development entities.

SJRC provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment, lived experience advocates, and other critical services.
