Useful things you might have missed

A post by the always insightful John-Paul Flintoff about Newsletters that people sign up to, but that never have any editions, really made me think.

I realised I had people still signing up to this Linkedin version, long after I had transitioned over to a Substack newsletter by the same name.

My engagement on here has been damaged by this, LinkedIn absolutely hates external links, and asking people on Linkedin to take another step can be challenging, but it was worth it, because I wanted to:

  1. Have more control over my content and how easy it was to find it.
  2. Could potentially get a direct monetary reward should the content be good enough - luckily for me it seems to be because I have a significant number of paid subscribers. Phew.

I have been very productive on Substack and thought it was time I highlighted the most popular ones on both Work Strategy and Life Strategy, just in case any of those of you who signed up to 'Funny, it worked last time' here; but didn't come with me to the substack version wanted a short cut to the most popular stuff:
