VentureCEO - Future Of AI: Midpoint Event

💡 Last week, we brought our Future of AI cohort together at Google’s King’s Cross campus for an afternoon of rich insight, collaboration and forward-thinking innovation.

🔹 Neil Lock , Google Cloud

Neil kicked things off with a rapid-fire tour of Google’s evolving AI ecosystem. From Gemini’s multimodal capabilities to hands-on demos with Notebook LM, Google Sheets integrations, and the design wizardry of Google Stitch, founders saw first hand how accessible and powerful AI tooling has become. We also explored the rise of AI agents, image generation for marketing, and how startups can tap into Google’s engineering support via AI studio and Safari.

🔹 Oksana Stowe , Google Cloud

Oksana zoomed out to the macro picture, spotlighting the ‘Magnificent Seven’ tech giants, now commanding around 35% of the S&P 500’s market cap and valued at nearly $19.4 trillion. Then on to funding trends, giving the cohort a clear view of where capital is flowing and what growth-stage investors are really looking for in AI businesses.

🔹 GTM Workshop with Emerald Technology

We closed the afternoon with a high-impact session on building elite, go-to-market teams. The key takeaway? “Get the right players on the pitch”. That means ensuring mission, vision and values are aligned. Don’t hire too senior, too soon. Instead find builders – people who’ve scaled similar journeys and can grow with your business.

After a day of insight and inspiration, we wrapped with drinks at Google and a buzzing evening at Drake & Morgan 🍸
