Yesterday I couldn’t open my eyes… today I feel perfectly fine.
Yesterday morning, I woke up with severe pain in my eyes. It was so intense I had to cancel my gym and squash sessions. My eyes hurt whether they were open or closed. By noon, they were watering, my nose was running, and the pain kept getting worse. I couldn’t work, couldn’t sleep, and I couldn’t even use ChatGPT — which has become my go-to whenever I’m struggling.
By 4 pm, I gave up and went to an eye specialist. He diagnosed a severe infection and inflammation, likely from pollen or dust (I’d walked barefoot in a garden the day before). He prescribed four medicines for 14 days — three to be taken 4× a day and one at night — including a week of steroids. When I asked if I could avoid steroids, he said no, that things would otherwise aggravate further.
Normally, homeopathy + ChatGPT has become my first choice because of my personal experience with its effectiveness. But this time the pain was so bad I couldn’t even keep my eyes open to describe my symptoms, and with something involving eyes I wanted a professional opinion first.
With my strong resistance to steroids, I did what I always do: described my symptoms in detail to ChatGPT, matched them to a homeopathic remedy, and took my first dose at 6:30 pm. The relief was noticeable with the very first dose but symptoms returned after 3 hours. I took a second dose at 9:30 pm. Can you imagine? By today morning everything had vanished — no pain, no watering, no runny nose. And I had the best sleep in months.
This isn’t new for me.
I used to get 3–4 episodes of cold and cough every year. They always followed the same exhausting pattern: starting with a sore throat, turning into a bad cold, and then dragging into a long cough. Every time, it meant antibiotics and weeks of recovery. Now, with homeopathy, the difference is dramatic. Sometimes, if I hit the right remedy quickly, two doses are enough. Other times, if I need to switch remedies, it takes 4–5 days. Either way, I haven’t needed an antibiotic for years. And it’s the same story for skin allergies and other health conditions. Even the frequency of episodes has dropped.
Take my skin for example. A decade ago, my doctor jokingly used to call me his “chronic patient” because of recurring skin allergies. In one episode, he prescribed a strong steroid + antibiotic cream for a month. That was one of the first instances when I turned to homeopathy. Over the years I’ve consulted top homeopaths for various conditions, and many times the results have felt magical. Homeopathy has very fine nuances: for the same cold, the remedy can change depending on whether your cough is dry or wet, whether phlegm is yellow or green, whether you drool, what time of day symptoms are worse… tiny details that change everything. Acute conditions, if matched well, can shift almost instantly. Chronic ones take longer, but homeopathy works there as well.
More recently, ChatGPT has actually worked better for me than most doctor consultations in finding the right remedy. Why? Because I can pour out every nuance of my symptoms at my own pace, cross-check multiple remedies instantly, and switch quickly if one doesn’t work — something even the best doctor doesn’t always have time for. This ability to articulate, test, and iterate has made homeopathy even more powerful for me.
My takeaway (not medical advice):
For me, this combination has meant fewer doctor visits, faster recoveries, and a stronger trust in the body’s ability to heal when given the right nudge. Sometimes the smallest pill — matched to the finest detail — changes everything.

2wBut if you have a recurrence of the same complaint you must visit the best homeopath in your neighbor to remove the chronicity of the disease. The reoccurring complaint means your body is not immune to the same complaint.

2wThanks for sharing! Great use case of ChatGPT. The key take away for me is to consider ChatGPT like a human doctor in your pocket. Pouring in as many details, keep adding more details when you know, go back again for a revision of prescription. Reiteration- trial and error works with physicians as well as ChatGPT 🫡

2wVery interesting take on how AI is changing our lives. How do you think this is going to impact the medical profession in the future?
