The event was absolutely buzzing… never a quiet moment at the Decon stand as we connected with people from across the telecommunications and critical infrastructure industries. We also had great fun running our 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, giving visitors a hands-on look at how immersive technology can help visualise energy systems in the field. With 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗥&𝗗, we’re continually exploring new ways to craft products that meet our clients’ evolving needs - from design through to manufacture, every step driven by innovation and purpose. A big day for the Connectivity Innovation Network at Comms Connect Melbourne 2025! Connectivity Innovations Network's COO, Genie Tan, took the stage to share how collaboration between government, academia and industry is translating research into real-world outcomes for public safety and emergency communications across New South Wales. Later in the day, Genie joined the first-ever ‘Women in Critical Communications: Progress with Purpose’ panel, alongside Natalie Kolodziej (Telstra), Ruth Tovo (SA SES), Cheryl Giggetts (P25 Technology Interest Group), Bidar Homsey (ACCF) and Rania Wannous (NSW Telco Authority). The discussion explored diversity, mentoring and purpose in critical communications, and the power of shared leadership to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals and strengthen community resilience.
