Ansys Fluent is now deployable on the Fugaku Supercomputer (ARM Architecture)! We tested the below 1B cell combustion case using a model from Kawasaki Technology, Co., Ltd. and simulated flashback prediction of a hydrogen-methane blend in an industrial combustor. Using a combination of Fluent and Fugaku, Kawasaki Technology Co. Ltd. saw an ~8X faster CFD simulation run time. We are proud to continue working towards faster CFD solve times for our users! Adhesives, glues, epoxy are all used for joining parts together in a consumer electronics manufacturing process. That process is critical to ensure PCB and electronics reliability. Such processes involve a high viscosity fluid flow through small channels where surface tension effects can cause air entrenchment during the filling process, leading to reliability issues.
