  • Another year of State of the Art (SOA) Summits wrapped up! Over the past month, GE Vernova’s Aero teams had the opportunity to spend valuable face-to-face time with customers from all around the world, in Bangkok (Thailand), Bandung (Indonesia), Houston (TX, US) and Dubai (UAE). These sessions are all about listening, learning, and collaborating. In partnership with Aero Alliance, our joint venture with Baker Hughes, we discussed the latest advancements across our LM6000, LM2500 and LMS100 product lines, shared updates on upgrades and OEM advantages, such as the Mark VIe control system, and highlighted tools and services that help our customers achieve operational excellence, including our Live Outage digital platform and our growing network of Level-2 Service Centers. Each conversation brought valuable insights that fuel new ideas, continuous improvement, and stronger customer relationships built on quality, reliability, and safety, driving cutting-edge projects and enhanced aeroderivative gas turbine solutions. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who joined us and contributed to this year’s SOA Summits. Together we are shaping the future of energy and advancing our mission to electrify and decarbonize the world. Arthur Maheswara Abraham, Luis Leal, Maxim Kulagin, Amol Mody Monamee Adhikari

  • GE Vernova strengthens its role in Queensland’s energy future. With more than 125 years of heritage supporting Australia’s energy infrastructure, GE Vernova continues to stand by the nation as it powers its energy transition. That’s why we’re thrilled that QPM Energy has selected two GE Vernova LM6000 aeroderivative gas turbine packages for its new Isaac Power Station, which will deliver up to 112 MW of electricity and keep the energy flowing more frequently thanks to its competitive gas supply, complementing renewables when the sun isn’t shining and the grid needs it most. This project will “contribute to the growth of QPM’s energy business, while supporting grid stability and reliability in Queensland as the state accelerates its transition to a more sustainable renewable powered future,” as Ramesh Singaram, Gas Power President & CEO in APAC, announced. Together, this project and technology highlight GE Vernova’s ongoing commitment to advancing Australia’s energy transition and powering a more sustainable energy future, while the LM6000 continues to set the standard for speed, reliability, and flexibility in supporting renewables. • ⚡💧 We’re excited to share that Lionel Martinez will be presenting together with Nuno Osório from EDP on Thursday, October 23, at the HYDRO 2025 Conference in #Greece. Their paper — “Extending the operating range of Alto Lindoso: Fatigue analysis, operation costs, and the role of hydropower in ancillary services” — highlights how EDP and GE Vernova joined forces to unlock the hidden flexibility of the Alto Lindoso #hydropower plant in Portugal. Through a technically sound and economically viable approach, the project extended Alto Lindoso’s operating range, transforming it into a true flexibility hub that delivers enhanced ancillary services and supports the integration of renewable energy into the grid. We’re proud to be driving innovation in hydropower and contributing to a more flexible, resilient, and renewable energy future. See you there! https://vernova.is/48DQ7lF To learn more about the XFLEX project: https://vernova.is/49eBpBI #Hydro2025 #Hydropower #RenewableEnergy #Flexibility #EnergyTransition #XFLEX

  • GE Vernova recently joined Kindle Energy and United Power, Inc. at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Mountain Peak Power facility in Weld County, Colorado. For this project, GE Vernova deployed six LM2500XPRESS aeroderivative gas turbines, which proved to be the perfect fit for the modular, fast-install solution Mountain Peak needed to meet Colorado’s growing demand for more sustainable and reliable power, reaching commercial operation in less than a year. At the heart of this milestone is GE Vernova’s aeroderivative technology: the LM2500XPRESS rapid installation brings new power online quickly, while its modular design allows the flexibility to replicate and scale facilities efficiently to support growth across the state. Beyond speed, the LM2500XPRESS provides local, reliable power that complements renewables and strengthens grid resilience, and its Dry Low Emissions (DLE) system can also help operators meet Colorado’s environmental standards. Together, these features make it a blueprint for how energy projects can advance both sustainability and reliability in Colorado’s evolving power landscape. • Balancing the grid isn’t just about technology, it’s about enabling the energy of change. As renewables grow on the grid, fluctuations in supply from wind and solar variability increase the risks of power disruptions. That’s where synchronous condensing comes in: it contributes to system inertia, keeping the grid stable as renewable generation and demand of electricity fluctuate. GE Vernova’s aeroderivative gas turbines, like the LM2500XPRESS, LM6000, and TM2500, have the synchronous condensing capabilities to: • Stabilize the grid → respond rapidly (5-min start) to frequency changes and voltage dips, while controlling reactive power for voltage regulation • Enable renewables → switch between condensing and generation modes to balance intermittent supply • Right-sized solutions → aeroderivatives are compact, flexible, and modular to bring energy wherever it’s needed • Future-ready → with hydrogen innovations, they align with tomorrow’s low-carbon grid Check out how GE Vernova is helping firm the grid and power the energy transition in local communities: https://vernova.is/4opYR3t
