GE Vernova has announced a significant agreement with Aula Energy to supply 42 6.1 MW–158m workhorse turbines for the 256 MW Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm in South Australia. This project marks another milestone in our ongoing collaboration, following the successful completion of the Boulder Creek Wind Farm in Queensland. Together, these two deals with Aula Energy in successive years highlight the ability of GE Vernova to support key customers in Australia.   Located near Georgetown in the Mid-North region of South Australia, Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm exemplifies our workhorse strategy, which focuses on deploying fewer turbine variants at scale to enhance quality and reliability. 🚚 Milestone reached at SunZia! The final wind turbine has been delivered to Pattern Energy’s SunZia project – bringing the total to 674 GE Vernova turbines and moving the project closer to completion. As the largest renewable energy infrastructure project in U.S. history, SunZia will deliver large-scale, reliable wind power, strengthen grid resilience, and help meet growing energy demand across the Southwest. GE Vernova Expands Onshore Wind Presence in Romania!   GE Vernova has signed a new agreement with PPC Renewables - ΔΕΗ Ανανεώσιμες to supply, install, and commission 14 of our 6.1 MW–158m onshore wind turbines for a new wind farm in Vaslui County, Romania.   This marks our second contract with PPC Renewables and builds on continued momentum in the region, including last week’s announcement of 42 turbines for Greenvolt Power. With this latest project—adding 85 MW—GE Vernova’s installed onshore wind base in Romania will exceed 800 MW. We're thrilled to announce our agreement with Greenvolt Power, part of Greenvolt Group to equip their second onshore wind farm in Romania with 42 of our powerful 6.1 MW–158m wind turbines. This follows our recent deal with Greenvolt for another Romanian wind farm, bringing our total contribution to approximately 500MW and significantly advancing Romania’s renewable energy goals. These projects will not only create hundreds of full-time jobs during construction but will also generate enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of over 110,000 homes annually. 🌎 Exciting news to share! GE Vernova has secured its first wind repower upgrade contract outside the United States, marking a significant milestone in our global expansion. We are proud to announce a new agreement with 台灣電力股份有限公司 Taiwan Power Company (TPC) to supply 25 repower upgrade kits for GE Vernova's 1.5MW-70.5m turbines, along with a five-year operations and maintenance services package. Uzair Memon, Chief Commercial Officer for GE Vernova's Wind businesses - Services, commented, “We are thrilled to bring our repowering capabilities to customers outside the U.S. for the first time and are proud to partner with TPC to support Taiwan’s energy transition.” The announcement was made during the B20 South Africa 2025 Summit in Johannesburg.  This groundbreaking deal builds on our successful track record of repowering over 6,000 wind turbines in the U.S. and now extends our proven expertise to support Taiwan’s decarbonization goals. 🎖️Today, we honor the incredible service and sacrifice of our veterans, and one such inspiring individual is Jackie Chimiak. Jackie's journey from a US Navy officer to a leading figure in the renewable energy sector at GE Vernova is a testament to her unwavering commitment to problem-solving and service.   Veterans like Jackie bring a unique set of skills to the renewable energy sector. We are proud to have this representation in every corner of our organization including a strong presence at our Advanced Manufacturing Factory in Pensacola, Florida, where nearly 20% of the workforce are veterans. This is supported by programs such as our Veterans Network Employee Resource Group that empowers Veterans in cultivating successful careers and our Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP), which further strengthens our commitment to this workforce by advancing their skills outside the military.   Jackie's words resonate deeply: "I love being at the tip of the spear in an organization, the boots on the ground, initiating relationships that last for years.
