    Group President Bell

This week at MWC Las Vegas, I had a great conversation with Martin Kon and Jason Hiner about Canada’s unique role in shaping the future of AI. As the world navigates the new geopolitical landscape, Canada has both the opportunity and the responsibility to define how AI is built, governed, and deployed.   With Bell AI Fabric, we're launching the largest sovereign mega-scale, full-stack AI compute capability – powered by clean energy, the best networks, and strategic partnerships with Canadian innovators like Cohere. Our mission at Bell Business, Ateko, backed by Bell Canada and Bell Cyber is clear: make enterprise AI easier to adopt, sovereign, and deliver better outcomes faster for our customers. Canadian Built. Canadian Run. On the Best Networks. Built for the World.

    Chief Information Officer at Qualcomm

Reflecting on a great day at MWC Las Vegas 2025, where the conversation focused on how AI is redefining enterprise strategy. In my fireside chat, I shared how the CIO role is shifting from technology steward to transformation leader, helping organizations prepare for AI-driven workflows and distributed intelligence.    A central theme was how AI is fundamentally changing the way we work—not just through new use cases, but by reshaping our entire enterprise architecture. AI is now the foundation for a new operating model, with AI agents augmenting teams and transforming how we approach governance, platforms, workflows, security, and interfaces.    This shift is happening fast, and it means we all need broad perspectives in our AI strategic initiatives. At Qualcomm , we’re driving this transformation by delivering platforms that combine performance, power efficiency, and connectivity—empowering enterprises to realize the full potential of AI.    Thank you to everyone who joined the discussion—I look forward to continuing the conversation!

"The quickest way to fail at AI is chasing quick wins without building long-term muscle. We need a two-speed strategy that shows value quickly while building the data and trust foundations for the decade ahead." In a session held as part of the Agentic AI Summit at MWC Las Vegas, Rakuten Symphony VP Ahmed Gamal Abdelaziz discussed how Agentic AI will transform OSS and telecom operations from self-healing, topology-aware networks to fully autonomous, AI-driven systems that predict, resolve and monetize performance in real time. He also outlined how NOCs are evolving into Network Intelligence Centers, and ways organizations can prepare for an era where humans no longer operate networks but orchestrate intelligence. Founder of Telness and Telness Tech | Making telecom a joyful experience for everyone

✨ Exciting day at MWC Las Vegas where I had the chance to talk about one of my favorite topics: AI in telecoms. At Telness Tech, we’ve always believed that the future of telecom operations isn’t just digital — it’s intelligent. We were among the first in the industry to build AI-powered automation directly into telecom operations, bringing intelligence and simplicity to the heart of BSS/OSS through our platform - Seamless OS. One of my favorite quotes sums it up perfectly: “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito in your bedroom.” With AI, that’s more true than ever. AI scales human impact — turning small teams into powerful engines for innovation and efficiency. When done right, it doesn’t just automate — it amplifies. It helps operators move faster, make smarter decisions, and deliver better experiences — instantly, and at scale. We’re proud to be shaping what’s next in telecom, proving that even the smallest teams can make the biggest impact — especially with AI at their side. 💡 #MWCLasVegas #AI #Telecom #Innovation #TelnessTech #SeamlessOS #Automation #BSS #OSS #TelecomInnovation
