  • 🚀 Small but mighty. Samsung’s Tiny Recursive Model (TRM), built on just 7 million parameters, outperforms trillion-parameter giants like Gemini and DeepSeek on reasoning benchmarks. Why does this matter? TRM shows that smarter architectures can beat raw size. Instead of endless scaling, it uses a draft → revise cycle, refining solutions recursively with fewer resources. 💡 For legal operations this points toward a future where lean, efficient AI models can: ✔️Run securely in-house without massive cloud costs ✔️Tackle structured, rule-heavy reasoning ✔️Provide more transparent outputs In short: AI in legal ops doesn’t need to be huge. It needs to be smart, efficient, and explainable. #legaltech #legaloperations #AIinnovation

There is a growing body of research that suggests bigger isn't always better. With Small Language Models, Hierarchical Reasoning Models and now Tiny Recursive Models all showing that they can perform as well, if not better than Large Language Models on specific tasks. LLMs alone aren't the path forward to AGI, and as we move into truly agentic workflows, smart model architectures hold a huge amount of promise. There is plenty of opportunity out there for AI innovation without the need for billions of dollars in computer or unlimited datasets. AI is far from being won by the massive AI players. #innovation #ai #artificialintelligence

  • Nick Whitehouse delves into Sora, the new AI technology that can generate video indistinguishable from real people. While the innovation is groundbreaking, it raises serious ethical questions around identity, likeness, and consent as deepfakes flood social media. Some are even experiencing “AI psychosis,” where they begin questioning what’s reality. 👉 How are you and your organization planning to grapple with these implications? We’d love to hear your perspectives on how this technology could shape trust, communication, and reputational risk.

It wasn't long ago that we worried that AI was replacing our jobs. Now it’s simulating our identities. AI is not just generating content for you anymore, it’s generating content of you. In this week’s video I dig into AI psychosis, identity, and the danger of intimacy without ethics. How will we stay grounded in these surreal times? #AI #artificialintelligence #ethics #responsibleAI

  • Non-compliant legal spend quietly drains 6–12% of annual legal budgets. For an organization spending $200M on outside counsel, that’s a $24M leak every year. With billing rates climbing at the fastest pace since 2005, it’s time to rethink how legal ops manages spend. That’s why we’re launching a five-part series on how to stop the leak: 1️⃣ Hidden costs of manual invoice review 2️⃣ The role of outside counsel billing guidelines (OCBGs) 3️⃣ Forecasting and reporting with AI 4️⃣ Redefining legal ops roles in an automated world 5️⃣ Building the ROI case for AI Part 1 just dropped, read it here: https://lnkd.in/ewXy2BvB
