We love to hear from our community and to find out what they’ve been doing. Recently CERP’s editors and board members have been out and about. Mageswary Karpudewan organised an inspiring symposium on green chemistry education at #IUPAC2025; read her post (rsc.li/3H69CrD). Scott Lewis, Gwen Lawrie, Nicole Graulich and Simon Lancaster were at GRC Chemistry education research and practice. Check out the photo of Gwen and Simon with Audrey Cameron, OBE, CChem, HonFRSC and Thom Bussey. With thanks to Michael Seery for the photo.

Pleased to share our work on Structured active learning (SAL) for #RSCPoster Education #RSCEdu - analysis over three cohorts shows improvements in level and speed of students' engagement, and final achievement is significantly increased using this teaching approach, where online and in-person active learning is scaffolded and geared towards assessments and competencies. Heather Gulbrandsen worked on this as part of her MSci degree Abertay University.
