It's Intern Takeover Thursday! This week is Fletcher Freeman from our Tennessee region. “Here is a selfie I took at my desk using the OpenSpace 360 camera. One important role I had as an assistant project engineer was to walk the jobsite with the 360 camera and upload my videos to OpenSpace. Other tasks I had were to manage submittals, manage punch lists, and schedule/record owner training. Capturing a detailed image of an OR room in the orthopedic surgery center during closeout was a highlight. Although we settled into our new space earlier this year, we finally got to celebrate the moment in style—with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by our General Manager and Senior Vice President, Marty Gibbs, joined by Knoxville’s City Mayor, Indya Kincannon, Knox County Mayor, Glenn Jacobs, and members of our incredible team. After nearly 75 years at our Sutherland Avenue location, The Christman Company’s Knoxville office has officially opened its doors at our new home in the Landmark Center Building on Northshore Drive—a building we proudly constructed in the early 1970s. Thank you to our employees, clients, and partners. We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the journey that brought us here.

💙 Making a Splash for a Special Wish! 💙 The Christman Company - Tennessee Region and Christman Southeast Constructors were honored to help bring joy to Rowan—whose favorite thing in the world is playing in the water—by assisting in the installation of a brand-new hot tub through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. A huge thank you to BESCO , for running power to the site and helping make this dream come true. It was a privilege to be part of this moment alongside William DeBusk, Garrett Wagley, Andy Bellmore, and Doug Lawyer, CEcD. This is what building with heart looks like. 💧✨

This space was designed to accelerate medical innovation and facilitate collaboration between UT Knoxville and UT Medical Center.
