Amit Shah

Amit Shah is the EVP International of Newsweek.

Shah is responsible for managing Newsweek's operations in EMEA from the London bureau, which includes driving new revenue verticals, P&L management, commercial development, building brands, business operations, strategy, and planning.

Shah is a senior digital media and technology executive, accomplished leader, team manager, and skilled negotiator responsible for deal generation and execution including brand extensions and licensing. Shah specializes in launching new products from planning to delivery.

Shah has over 15 years of experience building and leading finance teams with significant operating scale and complexity. Shah joined IBT Media UK in 2012 as finance controller/director, where he administered the company's finances, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit, and tax functions.

Before joining Newsweek, Shah had worked for CPA firms in the UK and as a management consultant for private companies.

Shah has accounting qualifications, a degree in engineering (electronics), a postgraduate qualification in aviation engineering, and has completed the General Management and Essentials of Strategy, Finance, and Leadership Program from London Business School (LBS).
