In complex times, resilient and forward-thinking leadership is essential – and few embody this more than Newsweek's Dev Pragad.

A media and technology executive, entrepreneur and CEO of one of the world's most influential and recognized news platforms, Dev has transformed Newsweek into a digital powerhouse, with more than 100 million readers per month, the highest in the iconic publication's 92-year history.

Dev believes that, to be a true change-maker today, one must be purpose-driven, opportunistic, champion change, commit to self-improvement and empower those around you. Under his leadership, Newsweek has become a highly efficient, digital-first, profitable enterprise.

Today, Newsweek is a standard-bearer for modern, responsible journalism – speaking to, and listening to, readers across the political and cultural spectrum. The platform is committed to journalism that's factual and fair, and supports good-faith debate... welcoming diverse views and voices, in the pursuit of common ground.

The media organization delivers thought-provoking news, opinion, images and video, across a dozen print and digital platforms. Its US readership is up 45 percent year-over-year, and its website was recently ranked the second fastest-growing in the US by Similarweb.

Newsweek's turn-around under Dev's leadership has been so significant that Harvard Business School (HBS) has published two case studies that are taught at HBS Executive Programs. Dev regularly participates in teaching the Newsweek case history to some of the world's leading entrepreneurs and business executives.
