Prior to Fastly, he served as CTO at Wikia, managed LiveJournal’s engineering team, and was an operations architect at Six Apart. In past lives, he has been a committer to Varnish, built high-volume financial trading systems, reimplemented Perl 5’s threading system, and created djabberd.
