
Boyertown Area Historical Society presented the 72nd annual Boyertown Halloween Parade on Oct. 18.
Held since 1912, this spooktacular event brings in a large crowd to Boyertown, the parade committee shared on the event’s Facebook page.
This year’s parade featured floats and costumed participants from local businesses, groups and organizations.
“This was a great year. We even added the Get’z Steam Calliope to end the parade,” Adriane Zapien, Boyertown Halloween Parade chairperson, said in a statement.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top-winning entries.
Best Float
1st place: H&K Group – Titanic
2nd place: Eddinger Propane – Pumpkin Spice
3rd place: First Response Contracting – Nightmare Before Christmas

Best Group Performance
1st place: Studios on Main – Avatar
2nd place: Impact Twirlers
3rd place: Boyertown Optimist Cheer

Most Creative Costume or Theme
1st place: Laurie Bossler – Boyertown Granny Club

3rd place: Dominic Danielle – Spooky Kids

1st place: Boyertown Area Senior High Marching Unit
2nd place: Boyertown Legionettes
3rd place: Boyertown Middle School East and West
Best Represented Business or Organization
1st place: Sacks and Sons – The Great Pumpkin
2nd place: Once and Done – Creeping Thru the Night
3rd place: T’s Trimming – Festive Fall
“Congratulations and thank you again so much for coming together as a community, putting smiles on everyone’s face,” the parade committee posted on the Boyertown Halloween Parade Facebook page. “The participants are the heartbeat of the parade. The creativity amazes our team.”
