OPERATION PHILOSOPHY OFAUTOMATIC SELF CLEANING STRAINER/FILTER INTRODUCTION AUTOMATIC SELF-CLEANING FILTER consists of cylindrical body with suitable element housed in it. A rotating hollow arm is mounted inside the element for cleaning purpose. Whenever pressure drop exceeds desired limit, arm is rotated with the help of motor provided on the top. Element will get cleaned without interruption of flow of fluid. DESCRIPTION It consists of cylindrical body with stainless steel element housed in it, to suit your degree of filtration. Water enters from the inlet, passes through screen, which retain solids and filtered waterleaves from outlet. For cleaning operation hollow backwash arm is provided. Arm is mounted on the center shaft. Electric motor will be actuated by a signal from pressure differential switch, whenever pressure drop exceeds pre-set valve, D.P. Switch will make electric contact and actuate motor, which in turn rotated arm assembly for cleaning element. Motor will cut off after 34 rotations through relays so that electric supply will not be cut-off even after pressure drop fails to original value. WARNING

THE ASSEMBLY OF THE FILTER ELEMENT IS A PRECISION ASSEMBLY AND UNLESS THE WORKERS ARE ACQUAINTED WITH THE ASSEMBLY IT IS NOT DESIRABLE TO ATTEMPT TO DISMANTLE THE SAME. IF IT IS CONVENIENT THE FILTER SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR REASSEMBLY.DO NOT OPERATE THE
