Questionnaire Results After putting up are questionnaire on SurveyMonkey although we did not get a high amount of responses I was

pleased with the response we received. Here is analysis on our results Male 5 Female 5

This allows us to know exactly which gender would prefer our film, the fact that equal amount of people for both genders answered the questionnaire helps because now we know that we can target both genders. Age 15 2 16 6 17 1 18 1 18+ 0

These were results we were pleased with because this was the main target audience we were hoping to hit. Despite the fact our target audience is 15-30 and there are no results for anybody over 18, I am confident it will appeal to anybody over that age too.

Although this is not the best result I was hoping for. It makes it clear that when making our film introduction we have to be clear to the audience exactly what genre it is.

This was good because the majority vote is yes, the fact that so far we are aware that physiological horrors are not that well known show that we have to show the audience exactly what they are missing out on.

These were the only two films that came up, which is not surprising given that only three people were sure they had watched the genre. But this shows that these two films are ones in which we can take inspiration for our film. Why did you enjoy them?

The three people who were sure they had seen a physiological horror stated these as the reasons why they enjoyed them: The suspense The mystery You had to think about what was going to happen

This helped to us to understand why they enjoyed the films they watched so we know what elements to put into our production Would you watch another film of this genre yes 3 No 0

This was pleasing as all who were able to answer the question said they enjoyed what they watched so we now know our genre would work
