If so, then the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) invites you to submit your application to participate in and showcase your products and sub-contracting capabilities at the Midest exhibition, from 19 22 November 2013 in Paris, France. The closing date for submitting applications is 06 May 2013.

Calling all industrial sub-contracting exporters the dti will offer the following financial support to qualifying firms:

Exhibition space and booth rental costs Freight-forwarding of display materials Air travel assistance up to R13,000.00; (SMME and PDIs) Daily subsistence allowance of R2,000.00 per day; (SMME and PDIs)

Midest 2013 is the largest sub-contracting exhibition and will focus on the following sectors: Metal processing, Screw cutting, Machining, Special Machines, Forging, Foundry, Fabrication, Metal cutting, Raw materials / Materials /Semi-finished products, Processing of Plastics, Rubber and Composite materials, Processing of wood, Processing of other materials (glass, ceramics) Electronics and Electricity, Microtechniques Surface Treatments, Thermal Treatments and Finishing Industrial Fasteners For more information visit www.midest.com The South African National Pavilion will focus on sub-contracting in the sectors mentioned above.
