CIRCULAR
Sub: Ph.D./M.S. (By Research) Not complying with the Regulations Confirmation Reg. In 20th Research Board, Ph.D. / M.S. (By Research) Regulations Clause 13.1.6 was amended as The prescribed course works shall normally be completed within two years from the date of provisional registration for both Full-time and Part-time scholars. If the scholar fails to complete the confirmation of provisional registration beyond three years after his/her registration for the Ph.D. programme, the registration of the scholar shall stand cancelled.

In spite of our reminders, instructing the scholars to fulfil the above requirement, it is noticed that several research scholars registered at Anna University/erstwhile AUTs have not completed the provisional confirmation within 3 years. Hence Supervisors are requested to take necessary steps to complete the confirmation of the scholars registered under their guidance before 30th June 2013. Otherwise the provisional registration granted to the scholar will be cancelled.
