She's always loved money and power. A: (7) Yes, she will. B: Interesting predictions. We'll see if you're right!

Substitute
2 PAIRS. Use the substitutions in the box to create a new conversation. Practice the conversation. Then switch roles.

For example,
A: I bet I can tell you exactly what will happen in the basketball championship between Los Angeles and Miami. B: OK. Will Los Angeles play better than Miami?

Student A
(1) basketball championship between Los Angeles and Miami (3) Los Angeles will lose the first game. (5) they wont. Theyll also lose the second game. (7) Yes, they will.

Student B
(2) Los Angeles play better than Miami (4) they play better after that (6) they beat Miami in the third game? They are a good team, after all.
