Wireless Scheduler Saves Energy
In order to save power consumption and reduce wireless radiation when wireless network is not in use, ZyXELs Router Series can be configured to turn on or off automatically according to your wireless usage pattern. Users can take simple steps to set up the wireless on/off schedule through the user interface and avoid the wasted-energy.
Prioritising Data for Optimised Bandwidth Efficiency
To optimise the network environment for multiple concurrent applications, the advanced QoS technology provides benefits through efficient multimedia bandwidth allocations. This feature detects game, video and VoIP traffics to gives them higher priorities within the home network and to the Internet. The WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia)embedded ZyXEL wireless products enable multimedia applications such as VoIP, video-on-demand and audio to secure the bandwidth they require to provide better experiences for homes with several users accessing the Internet at the same time.
Easy Setup Security
The data security technologies employed by ZyXEL easily allow authorised users to access the network while protecting data from being tapped in the transmission progress. In addition to the basic WEP (Wireless Encryption Protocol) encryption, the ZyXEL wireless adapters also come with advanced security technologies such as Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) to enhance network protection and user privacy. By just pushing the WPS button on the router and the other on the client, both devices will find each other and automatically configure the security settings.
