Mushu and Danzi are both Eastern dragons Found in Eastern countries (Asia, India, Middle East, oriental countries) They are revered: Dragons are displayed in art, on buildings, parades are held in their honour They live in or come from water They are highly respected and valued for their magic, beauty, wisdom and power Symbol of heroism In myths they are seen as a protector; as a symbol of good fortune; having

power to affect the weather

Appearance
o Most do not have wings (they fly by magic) o Have four legs and long, snake-like body o Are not usually fire breathing o They can be large or small can shape shift o Has the head of a camel, the horns of a deer, fiery eyes, a long beard, the ears are like those of a cow, its paws like the tigers, its claws sharp like an eagles, its neck is serpentine and has the scales of a carp

Discuss their role in the myth, appearance, personality traits, how they are portrayed (negative/positive) etc.
