INGREDIENTS: NUEGADOS a) Some yuca tuber, we dont need any potatoes
b) Some eggs whisked c) Some bakig powder d) Some cheese (cuajada) e) Some teaspoon of white sugar, no brown sugar f) g) Some corn flour, no other flour Any oil
INGREDIENTS: SWEET SAUCE a) Any brown sugar, no white sugar b) Some honey c) Some cinnamon sticks
DIRECTIONS: COOKING NUEGADOS a) Using a potato peeler remove skin from yucca b) With the peeler, shave yuca c) Place the shavings in a blender and grind them completely d) In a bowl add some eggs, some salt, some baking powder and some cheese e) Mix completely using a mixer f) g) i) Make a small balls, using your hands Heat some oil in a skillet or a pan to medium high Place finished nuegados covered whit paper towels to absorb any excess oil
h) Fry balls about 2-3 minutes per side
DIRECTIONS: SWEET SAUCE a) Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat on medium, stirring constantly. b) Bring ingredients to a simmer; continue to stir for about 15 minutes. c) Remove sauce from heat and immediately pour in to over nuegados.
